Throttle Position Sensor Error
Got this code (23) yesterday for no apparent reason. Car still runs fine. Part costs $50... how bad do I need it? Where precisely is it located?? Does it most likely need replacing? What does it do.. aside from sense the throttle position?
Thanks a lot,

I guess i'd see how long you can hold on without it. When my TPS went bad on my old 2.8L Camaro, the car would drive fine, but stall out at idle & right before the car came to a stop. Ah, memories....that car was always throwing a code for one reason or another

Almost forgot. It's located right next to the carburator...that's as specific as I can remember without having the Chilton manual right here....I remember seeing it in there when looking at something for my carb. Sorry so vague, but hope it helps.
