Building a 350 TPI

I posted this in the TPI forum too, but I thought I could get more feedback if I put it here too:

Hey everyone, I'm starting a build on a 350 TPI for a 90-92 Z28 body, and I was just wanting to know if anyone had any ideas.

I've already picked out some Vortec heads for it, but other than that, its almost wide open. I'm looking to get around 350 hp or more out of it, and im going with a manual tranny.

Not going for a drag car or autocrossing or anything, I just want a fast car.

If you're expecting that level of rear wheel power, you might want to visit the DIY PROM Board for some tips on tuning. You'll probably need it to support the kind of cam you'll need for that level of power.

You'll need the Vortec base if you are going to use Vortec heads.

Do you have a block yet? Is it an 87-up block that can take a roller cam?

And what a coincidence, I just put a new-in-box Vortec TPI base up for sale in the Classifieds section, complete with GM gaskets and 12-pt bolts, for 10% off SDPC price.

I'm going LS6 so the Vortec head project has been nixed. I can send the intake back to SDPC but take a 20% restocking fee hit, better to split the difference with a fellow 3rd genner if I can.
