For those that Want an AC Delete box....

My brother made this up for me. It not complete yet, cause I had to change a header gasket first. But I'll have the gap closed at the top. And the box will have an opening for the hot air to flow thru. It adds a lot of room while keeping your heat/defrost. I'm going to paint it black.

He's looking to sell them, we're not sure on the price yet, but he's thinking $30 + shipping. Will come with directions too. If anyone is interested PM or email me.

Nice idea!! I like it! So you just cut the original heater/evaporator box in half, and kept the blower motor mount? Where do the blower speed resistors go?

Yep, cut in half. Speed resistors? You mean the wires that connect to the blower itself, that's still intact.

Wouldn't plexiglass melt in the engine compartment? I'm not sure if that part gets hot or not.

who ever said anything about plexiglass?,

yes plexiglass would melt, at least deform itself by the heat source(headers)

by the way has anyone else, managed to burn/rub a hole in there AC box where the header passes it???

Hey Mark,

How has the cam swap gone? Ready to roll yet? I'm quite interested in how it works out for you. Really well, I hope

The new cam and lifters are in. I have to pick up a few more gaskets, get the gear drive from someone.
And my brother just ordered me some roller rockers. They'll be here Friday, hopefully I'll be done then.

Don't worry, I'll post about it, for some pics for now, check out the mid atl board.
