I think I finally found my problem!!

I think maybe I'm using the wrong thermostat with my chip or it's reading the CTS funny. I disconnected the CTS plug tonight after a mechanic friend recommended it. The problem didn't go away totally, but got like 10 times better!! I'm going to call Ed Wright tomorrow and discuss it with him......finally I think I have it!!

Paul,

Check the resistance of the CTS at a given temperature. Compare it to the table to determine if the CTS is good. ± 50 ohms is usually O.K.:

Vader,
I am putting a scanner on it tomorrow as well as getting a laptop for the week so I can run WINALDL on it. I was also reading a post about injectors bleeding off. When I turn my key on the fuel pressure goes up to the correct setting, but then slowly comes down to like 25-35, maybe lower if I left the gauge on it long enough. Is that a problem???

How long fpr the fuel rails to drop 10 PSIG? If the pressure drops in ten minutes or less, you may have a leaking injector(s) or regulator, or possibly a pump check valve leaking back. You should be able to isolate the leakage by pinching shut the supply and return lines one at a time to isolate parts of the system.
