Car running hot

Hey guys - i have a newly rebuilt 383, forged pistons - with a vortech s-trim@10psi, the cooling system is a stewart water pump, and a fluidyne 2 core aluminum radiator. My problem is the goddamn car still runs hotter than it should (240ish, no AC..), any ideas? any help would be greatly appreciated as this issue is driving me crazy.

More info please. When does it run this hot? What mixture coolant/water are you using? What stat? What kind of fans? What kind of quality is that radiator?

Its a fluidyne 2 core aluminum - Yes, the front air deflector is still there, im going to end up getting a new one cause the old one is semi flexible. I found the cooling issue though - bad relay.. grr. she is now running happily at 220. the next issue is a gremlin that keeps toasting TFI coils.
