Someone explain to me these weird 1/4 mile times.
Went to track today with arizona thirdgen club. Car ran weird to say the least. After a little bit of tweaking (and I mean LITTLE) Got the camaro to run a 14.00@98mph with the new 350. Now explain this.............with the 305 I had in it before with the exact cam except one size down (comp 262 instead of 268) and lower CR the 305 went 14.7@98...........SAME mph!! WTF is wrong here? I forgot what ****ty mph and good E.T. means. I should be going a lot faster at the traps. Car seems to kinda hover at 4,000 when I shift into third (TH350) like its bogging or something. Timing was set at 36 degrees. Had a holley double pumper on it today (750 with 76 jets all around) perhaps it was jetted way rich?? Rich jetting slows the mph down not the E.T..........right? Anways, I was happy to get the 14.0, but peaved at the 98mph. Was expecting something over 100. That was with a 2.0 60ft with a 3,000 stall converter.

Its also worth noting that when I ran 14.0 the timeslip reads 90 degrees temperature, 80% humidity, pretty ****ty conditions I think
