Need to check Cams lift, how do I do this?(its out of the car)

K I bought a used cam which we are thinking it might be whiped, is there an equation that I can use to figure it out with a mic?

No equation; but measure the narrowest width of each intake and exhaust lobe, and the largest "height" of each, and see if all 8 intakes and all 8 exhausts measure the same.... if not, put it in the trash

Measure the largest "height" of the lobe, and subtract the narrowest "width" (this is the "base circle") of the lobe, then times that by your rocker ratio to get lift. Ex: 1.55 "height" - 1.17
"narrowest" (or "base circle") = .380 x 1.5 rocker ratio = .570 lift.
