electrical problem?
i have a carbed v8 3rdgen and it has a problem..
the engine has low miles and runs perfect, when i start the car when it's warm it starts the first turn. won't stall after it's started
when the car hasn't been turned on in a day or two, it won't turn over when you start it? i have to open the hood shake the distributer and it starts up fine? after it is started she runs perfect no problems.. but in the mornings it doesn't turn over without shaking the distributer...
i recently replaced the ignition module, condensor and distributer cap but still doesn't help
i was told it can't be the coil because the coil either works or doesn't there is no sometimes
one morning i put a timing light on it before starting it, and there was no spark getting to the wires, i shook the dis. while someone turned the key they FIRST spark on the wire and the car fired up
anyone have any idea's? the dis. isn't loose or anything

pickup coil is shorting out...the wires to the module may be cracked or broken...pull the dist....take it apart and see what you can see...Ill bet the pick up is fried.
