Which Heads

Which heads would ya'll recommend for my current setup (see sig)? I as thinking about the heads from Weeler Motorsport, but i called them and they don't come complete, and wth vortec heads i wold need to buy a new intake. So i saw the Trickflow Twisted Wedge G2 heads in the new summit mag and they caught my eye, but they are alittle pricey. And on a side note what would the total lift be for a 280 cam with 0.480 lift on1.6 rockers? What rockers would u recommend for a daily driven, mostly street/strip car.

THANKS

Which head castings do you have now? they may be quite
useable with the right mods.

AH i see your problem.... you do need new heads..

Edelbrock just released a new improved version of the Performer RPM head. Lots of new stuff.

Heart shaped combustion chambers and D shaped exhaust ports etc.

You might also want to check out the Pro Action Iron Lightning
stuff. Available in many port sizes.

Brodix has a new Track 1 too.

thanks

OK i will check those out, D u know what hte gross lift would be if i put 1.6 rockers on the heads? my cam has 0.480" lift on intake and exhaust. What Intake do u prefer? was goign to get the Edelbrock Performer since my local napa has it in stock, and hte place next door to them has hte Weind Action Plus intake, which one wuld be better for my setup.

If ytou are running a 280 cam witrh 203 duration at .050 then you do not want a performer manifold , get a stealth or a performer RPM , I have run that same cam Twice and the perormer doent allow the engine to breathe at the upper rpms.

And the lift with 1.6 rockers will be .512
