What octane should I use???

I'm currently running 91, as that's about the highest around, driving an 87 Firebird Formula (TPI 305). Is it ok to use 87, or do these beasts really want 91?

Thanks!

I'd say 87 is fine. If you hear any pinging, then move up to 89. But I never heard of them requiring 91.

Yeah. You only need higher octane on higher compression motors.
