Vacuum lines missing
I recently decided to give a tired 89 Formula a well needed resurection. I have since found out that the last owner had no mechanical ability whatsoever. I've spent the last 2 weeks ironing out all the problems. The question I have involves the vacuum fitting behind the throttle body in the manifold. When I got the car, nothing was hooked up to it. Just an open vacuum leak.
Can anyone tell me what lines run to this fitting and if there are any check valves in those lines. Its not on the vac. diagram under the hood or in the Haynes manual. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
David

I checked it out and the EGR is all hooked up. The only hoses I can find disconected are the cruise control and the heater. I found the heater vac. hose broken off in the harness.
If anyone with a 305 TBI can take a look at their hookup and see if these lines go there and how that would help alot.
This car has been in the hands of several people who didn't have a clue on how to fix it correctly. I would've liked to get one in better shape, but the deal was too good to pass up. The car is all there and straight. The perfect start for a project.
