Well a couple of nights ago, my car started smoking underneath the hood, so I looked, and it was oil dripping from underneath the valve covers, and burning off the exhaust manifolds. Well, I finally get around to pulling the valve covers off, and what do I find??? Well first of all, if you are leaking oil out of your valve covers, that must mean you have a ***** UP valve gasket. Mine wasnt even whole.... it was missing about 3 inches of it... And children, what does this mean??? YOU GET OIL STAINED DIRT CAKED ALL THE **** UP IN THERE!!! Now I either have to buy that vortec intake now, and strap on the vortecs, or rebuild my heads... Dont know which one I am going to do yet? Havent made up my mind. Sorry guys, this really steams me, I am fixing to drop a new engine in and the old one is messed up. Which one should I do, and how can I clean up my heads. There is alot of stuff in there. Wish I had a pic, but sorry for the ranting....

 

Man usually this happens when the drain galley each top corner front and rear holes just above the end bolts of the heads gets stopped up. This usually comes from infrequent oil changes and brokedown oil.

 

yeah man, well I change my oil EVERY 3000 miles. Like I am very religious on oil changing. But I propose to take off the head a parts wash them, maybe use a small metal brush, then, with both valve covers off, drain the oil, then pour two quarts of oil ALL over the rockers, valve springs, all that good stuff, let it soak inside the engine. Run it for about 30 minutes straight like city driving around, then come bac and frakin change the oil again, to get all the stuff, also, I want to take off my oil pan, and see if stuff is deposited in the bottom, if so.... its all coming out. But man, I was really mad at this incident. This is like the exact problem that has been wrong with my car. Anyways, thanks for your advice...
