Got some questions, need some answers
Got a couple of questions if you all dont mind...
1--Can anyone tell me how much HP stock a Z28/Trans AM has. This guy i know is telling me that a early Z24 with a few light mods (intake,exasut can be even w/ or beat a Z28. True or NO?
2-- I've been looking to buy one and Ive seen a couple of Z28's and one Trans AM and I was wondering if they mostly all come w/ the 305 engine? also they all have the automatic transmission. Are they 4spd autos or 3? and do they still race well with the auto (I talking drag, and auto cross), or are the 5spds faster??
3-- Also one other question how badly could I wail on my 2 friends (who own a Neon 4dr. and a '02 Z24) w/ a Z28 or a Trans AM??

2. Not all cam with 350s, but starting in '87 is when you can find a 350. If you're into autoX then I would get a 5spd as it will help you more, but drag racing, conisistency is important so an auto would be best there. They didn't make 350 5spd combos so it's up to you.
3. Again depending on which engine code you have, if you get a 305 LG4, you friends might wail on you, cept that Neon, they are slow as crap. If you get the 305 LB9 5spd then you'll take them both, but if you get a 350 auto, you'll kill em.
