Well, I think I have a problem with VATS. I went to start my car after work tonight and it woun't turn over. All the electrics work fine so the battery is good. But when I put the key in and turn it the 'security' light is illuminated. I tried both my keys so I am assuming its VATS. I read the tech article on how to bypass it is that all I need to do? How much would it cost me to get a new one?

I tell I am ready to sell both my cars and buy a honda or something. First I install the transgo shift kit and I lose 1st gear, it wont shift into 3rd gear when in the D position and when in the OD position it wont downshift from 4th to third at WOT, which I thought was impossible with these cars. So my trans is pretty screwy right now. Time for a T-56 conversion?

Then on my Mercury I just replaced the radiator, and now today the water pump goes and is spraying coolant everywhere.

Sorry I just need to vent. when it rains it pours.
