Always somethin going wrong - today my car turns over but won't start. Thought maybe the gas guage was malfunctioning, put gas in it - no luck. Put gas in carb., started right up, then died. Never had this problem - any ideas? Had new fuel line and filters put in about a year ago - Someone suggested that perhaps the catalytic converter is my problem? Acts like it wants to start, turns and turns to no avail! Help! And thanks to the person who explained my previous cry for help with an indicator light that tells me something's wrong with my airbag system - although I understand this wouldn't keep my car from running - I had no idea what that indicator light was for and guaging from the answers I've received myself and those around me must be blooming idiots cause nobody else knew what that was either! Have mercy on a stupid female car enthusiasts, I'm new to the field.

 

INFL REST = Inflatable Restraint = Airbag.

If it flashes and stays on, it means something is wrong with the AirBag system, but I've never heard of it disabling the whole car.

 

Stay AWAY from the steering wheel!!!
