No it won't unless you have aftermarket aluminum heads. For a stock 87 LG4 you need part# 8024 (what I have). 8016 will fit if you modify the four center bolt holes(2 on each side I think). The intakes for 87-up are now called Action Plus. Check out www.holley.com

Does anyone know what I need to do to modify the center bolts on this intake so it would fit on my 87 305 lg4. Will this intake work for this motor if I modify the 4 center bolts
Thanks

I think you have to elongate (spelling?) the two center holes on each side but I'm not sure and cannot find out until next week. Hopefully some one else on this board can help you more.

todd 200,
I think you are right about elongating the holes I just wanna be sure before I start cutting on this intake, eventhough I picked it up pretty cheap. I guess I will try to call holley, I know they will try to sell me another intake but it maybe worth a try. Does anyone else have any information to share on this? Has anyone else ever done this?
