**help Help** Please Help Me

To anyone and everyone,
I recently bought some headers for my 91 Formula. THe problem is that when removing one of the bolts on the factory exhaust manifolds it broke off, and two other bolts just won't budge. I am not too worried about the one that broke as I am of the two that won't come out. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to use to get them out... Thanks for reading this and please reply back if you have any suggestions.

Will

Try to soak them with lubricant overnight. PB works well. You could try heating around the bolts with a propane torch.

that happened to me on a 79 t/a I ended up grinding 2 flat spots on each side of the bolt and grabbing it with some visegrips.

spray them with penetrant then hit them with a hammer as hard as you can and then heat them with a torch and immediately try to remove them while they're hot

Screw all that work!!! Go get a friggin' pipe wrench......

Get it on there where it will grab, if you need more leverage, use a section of pipe.

I've NEVER NOT gotten a rusted on / stuck bolt off with a pipe wrench.

I agree with the Train except that you should try to remove them after they have cooled down again. Heating the bolt will cause it to expand in the head and wedge it in further.

remember... use lots of penetrating oil... lots!!!... and let it soak at least overnight

Thats why you heat around the bolt. Heating the bolt itself will give the opposit effect.
