PCV Valve
Sorry about this, I have noone I can turn to even for this. Just picked up a new PCV valve for 2 bucks, do I just yank the old one out and plug the new one in? It says to clean the hoses, should I use some gas to clean the gunk out the best I can and then run water through them??
Thanks for the help,

A piece of hose is like $.25... probably costs more to clean it than to replace it... and of course, cleaning the hose with solvent won't help it keep from cracking, which is how they fail...
Don't be too surprised if you have some odd problems after replacing the PCV valve. I've had issues with aftermarket (specifically, Fram) replacements that are not properly flow calibrated for the application, causing idle and mixture problems for which the ECM couln't compensate. Spend another whole dollar and get the correct AC/Delco replacement part, or just clean the existing valve.
