temperature variations
Just used my new laser pyrometer....Cool
Engine whack..............Bad
I just installed headers (flowtech street shorties uncoated)
I went to Dallas 500 mile round trip Didn't turn engine off but to fill up and turn arround.
Header paint had fallen off by the time I got to Dallas.
All but the back 2 passenger header tubes.
I checked the temperatures warmed up and idling.
those header tubes that never lost thier paint have been like that for 2 weeks now. I have a TBI and wondering why the back temps on the passenger sidewere 250 degrees and some were 450 range.

2 weeks is a long time, the cylinders are not getting hot enough is what I am getting at.
I was wondering why on a wet flow manifold some thing like this would be happening.
