That sounds more like too much crankcase pressure and/or not enough vacuum, to me. What is the idle vacuum reading, anyway?

I was thinking the same about not enough vacuum, as in there isn't anything sucking/holding it down.

What exactly is "blowing off" of what?

You may just need a new rubber bushing where it fits into the valve cover, or your hose to it may be misrouted such that it's always trying to pull it out. Vacuum has nothing to do with "holding it in", or anything like that.

I have a hose from my edelbrock carb to the valve cover with a pcv valve on the hose,it keeps coming off from the valve cover.I'm afraid if I keep driving it I will blow the rear main seal.& I just have to say it haul's a$$.

Is the PCV working (sucking air)?
Is the breather on the other valve cover obstructed? It should be connected to filtered air somehow.
If the breather is obstructed AND the PCV is not opening, you could be generating enough crankcase press to push out the PCV due to normal amounts of blow-by.

If all the above is OK, your new cam may be contributing to increased blow-by due to the higher cyl pressures being generated.

A compression check should tell you if there's a major blow-by issue.
