charcoal canister removal
My charcoal canister canister has been removed by a previous owner. I don't plan on replaceing it because I am not keeping TPI. The problem is the tank vent. When I shut my car of it sounds lihe a huge vacuum leak. I assume this is the tank depressurizing. What can I do to stop or quiet this? Hook this line somewhere? Put a valve of sorts to stop the air?

You sure that sound is coming from the tank vent line? I know of two cars without their canister, mine being one of them, and they don't make any noise.
