why is my car so damn slow ugh

i have an 89 trans am gta with a reman. jasper 350. with less than 10,000 miles on her it has.. headers, 3in exhaust, slp runners, tpis intake, msd ignition and blaster 2 coil, 52mm throttle body, ported plennum, 24 lb sov injectors, afpr....and still my car is only running 15.02 I DON'T GET IT.....my trans is completely beat up..so i'm gonna throw a new one in her next week. someone throw a suggestion to me please I SHOULD NOT BE RUNNING THIS SLOW.
my friend has the same exact jasper motor in his gta and he's running high 12's with less mods than me...but even with my old motor the car wouldn't pull.....

Well if the trans is beat up..that's going to obviously slow you down. Another thought I have is that the cam in your jasper engine is probably better suited to stir paint than open valves, and I doubt the heads are great either. With those mods you've got I don't see you running 12s, so unless your friend has timeslips to prove it I'd say he just thinks his car will run those times, or got a bad g-tech time. Do you have cam and head specs? How is your fuel pressure/timing set? Any other problems?
