Just found out my 305 is cracked from the machine shop looking for a 350 anybody know where I can get a cheap 350

looking for a rebuilder Just got all my parts for my 305 and found out it was cracked. So a 305 block or a 350 long block I already know about Goodwrench motors not sure I could swing it financial wise

 

Go pull on from the junkyard, i got a longblock for $100.

 

where di you get one from the junk yard at they all want 400+ for a rebuilder

 

You should be able to get any 350 bare shortblock for around 100 bucks (maybe more for a roller block) from a local junkyard. I would go from there. Get it bored and slap some new internals in. if your looking for power it will be in the heads and cam so don't cop out here. Sitting Bull as you probably know is making good power with some 305 heads. Read his sig for details. They can be had for very cheap.

My machine shop picked up a roller block for my 305 for 100.00 so another third gen will be back on the road soon. Picked up a spare 305 from the machine shop for 125.00 think I will build me a spare motor
