checking fuel pressure

checking fuel pressure

Am I doing this right. Connect guage to schrader valve, turn key to on position, look at guage for reading. I am getting no needle movement. Thanks

Probably. It's possible the valve core has issues, or the pump is not running. It's easiest to check the pressure with the engine running to verify the regulator operation.



Check to see that the test gauge doesn't have two gaskets or 'O' rings in the connector, and that it is fully seated.

sounds like you may have a bad gauge..i checked mine with the key in the on position..around 35-40 psi i believe...sounds like its a bad gauge.
