im changin my plugs tomorrow and i have to sets....one set are autolite platinum and the other are splitfires..which are better?

Neither one clears headers "better", they are both on the long side. Thats what I take into consideration when buying plugs. Then you have to compromise that with the correct heat range. Once those two factors are balanced, it doesnt matter what plugs you use.

I've had a set of Autolite platinum AP26 in for 34k miles. It always fires instantly and rev's good. I checked one yesterday and it shows no sign of wear and the gap was right at .040 where I set it, so I can't complain. I was about to put in a new set but I think I'll let it go for a while longer.
