I did a search on the site and found that when using Hyperutetic pistons, the top ring end-gap clearance should be increased by approx 20%.
I applied that formula to the top ring and to a lesser extent to the second ring.

I didn't check the oil control rings though.

I thought I saw somewhere the oil control rings don't need to be checked, but now I can't find that info.

My eng will be coming back apart for a different issue and I was wondering if I should check the oil ring gap while it's apart.

 

The oil ring doesn't get very hot, so its end gap isn't very critical.

As manufactured they're usually around .050"-.060".

 

the idea with the increased ring end gap with hypers, or some as i understand not all require it, is because of the better heat transfer from the top of the piston to the ring. increased heat results in more expansion, more expansion causes the ring ends to butt together ,to eliminate that from happening you open the end gaps on the top and sometimes second rings.
