Based on that I get 8.00:1

On that Program if yu just enter the gasket thickness
.040" the cr is overstated because the gasket is actually bigger than the bore size. 4.166 to 4.04
I enter .0425 instead of .040" to compensate
This represents the true gasket volime of 9.1cc's

ok based on that, i think my compression is somewhere between 8 and 8.5:1, prolly closer to 8 i think. so i think a set of 58cc heads will get me up closer to 9.5:1 i think, should give some performance. so do you guys thnk im right??

Concerning compression, if my original set are the 416's, will the 081's set my compression a little higher, I think I read in my Haynes manual that I too have 8.5:1 right now, and I'd like to go a little higher eventually, so I'm keeping tuned to this thread.

Thanks for any help.
yea u can find all ur info at 3rdgenformula.com or .net (both go to same place) i looked there and ur comp is 8.6:1 and the info on ur heads is this....

305 (LG4 & LB9) 10159553 58cc 1.84" 1.5"
