weird noises from the engine

I have a weird noise from the engine this noise only starts when wheather temp., drops below 50 if above 50 then the noise stops after engine has warmed up to 170 then runs quietly. this has been going on for sometime, different people looked at the car but dont know. a friend of mine also looked at it and he cant say
it doesn't effect the way the engine runs just want to know whats going on sounds like its from the balancer or crank pulley because its at the front its no inside the engine other then that has no other sounds dont leek oil or brne oil and is clean on top and bottom.

Can you describe the sound? Engines can make a lot of different noises, so right now we're pretty lost in trying to help.

Try getting some wd-40 into the bearings on all pulleys.

What happened to my tensioner pulley was that the bearings were starting to go so I bought a new tensioner and got a bonus that it was aluminum. So got a bit of weight savings and fixed the odd rattle.
