Ask the place you bought it from. I'd check it very closely though. It makes me nervous to get something that isn't complete, even if it's something as small as a card or instruction sheet that is missing.

It's a stock (i.e. GM) cam. There's only one way to put it in right, and that would be ..... the right way. Any other way is wrong. You line up the dots on the timing chain, etc. Not many options, really.

The spec is straight up, but with a GM timing set. This is very important: aftermarket timing sets advance the cam 4° compared to late-model GM sets - or, more accurately, late-model GM sets such as that cam is designed for retard the cam 4° compared to other sets, including earlier-model GM sets. GM started doing that in about 71 as part of emissions downgrades; that lower cyl pressure at low RPMs, and therefore NOx emissions. So, either use a GM set, or install it 4° retarded with an aftermarket set, unless you want to advance it, which will probably make it run better anyway.
