Stay away from stock choices in waterpumps....i have had 2 in mine that went bad so far (1992 Trans am ) i finally got a JEGS Magazine and bought me a ( Weiland water pump part # 925-8208 rev flow ) cost is $ 94.99 but its an aluminum cast waterpump which is 30-50% lighter than OEM water pump....u can get the cast iron one which is..$67.99 part #925-8250.....good luck and keep that bird flying above the rest.....here is JEGS number also........1-800345-4545 or jegs.com....

I agree with the last post, spend a few bucks on an aftermarket aluminum like the Weiand, Edelbrock, Moroso etc - there are probably more brands.

You shave a few pounds off the front of the car that way for sure, they look better, most flow more volume (should you need it), and the impellers are designed to work well at high speed - unlike the stock stuff.

Don't screw around with a bunch of wannabees, go for the real thing. Very affordable, permanent.

Mine went out last summer when I had no idea about cars. I just bought a replacement from advance...brand new for like 25$. Working fine so far...keeps the 350 cool. When it goes im gonna get a good pump tho.
