U wanna see the dragstrip casualty?
This happened in September at the local dragstrip about 20-30 yards from the 1/4 mile mark. It still ran a 13.7 at 90 mph. It wasn't my Camaro, thank ***, it was my S10. I just thought it would be a great reminder to be careful.

look at the back of the block above the bellhousing? does anyone know of the correct way to fix this. I have heard a lot of diff. methods. ( braze w/ a nickel rod, JB weld, Magnumsteel, arc weld with cast iron rods)

Not sure. Even my transmission guy was in awe. It also broke the yoke off of the rearend, flattened my exhaust tube, blew my right front tire out (flywheel teeth), punctured my gas tank, and put a baseball sized hole ih the floor board. Oh yea check out the starter and the framerail in that pic.

It was a stock flexplate. I'm guessin 300-350 hp not sure b/c desktop dyno is full of crap. My combo is 010 block .030 over (355) home ported 041's, screw in studs and guideplates, aluminum roller rockers, Comp XE268, 9.73 to 1 hypereutectics, weiand Xcellerator, holley 600. This engine and trans. had 19 miles on them after break in. That was the first and only run down the 1/4. No chance to tune.
You are THE man.
As far as repairing your block goes, is there any reason that it can't be replaced?
Sounds like you've got a lot of work to do, repair, replace, whatever. Good luck.
