Voltage Varies 10-14

I just noticed at idle I'm under 12v and the lights dim, when I rev it past about 900rpm it picks back up.
What would casue this, I put new terminals on but that did not help,
Bad Ground?

Are you using underdrive sheaves? It sounds like the alternator cannot keep up with load, either from excessive load, inadequate RPM, or a failing field winding or possibly a rectifier.

I would try to get the alt tested and see if it is not bad or weak.

What is your idle speed when it shows the low voltage--could be a slow idle. If the idle is OK, the alternator might be getting weak.
