Alot of engine questions.
Ok, this is what I'm looking at....
350 block from a friend.
Pro Lightning 64cc 200cc heads. http://www.enginekits.com/heads/heads1.html
KB pistons KB101 http://www.kb-silvolite.com/page24.htm#SECT5
Holley StealthRam http://www.thunderracing.com/index.c...ategoryid=1125
Holley 58mm http://www.thunderracing.com/index.c...ategoryid=1125
Roller-Tip Rocker Arms 1.6 ratio http://www.thunderracing.com/index.c...ategoryid=1110
Hooker SuperCompetition Lts http://www.thunderracing.com/index.c...ategoryid=1034
4" Mufflex exhaust http://www.mufflex-performance.com/fbody.html
Hydraulic Roller Lifters http://www.thunderracing.com/index.c...ategoryid=1110
My question, I am hoping around 450hp out of this combo. Is that reasonable? I really need to know what type of cam I would need to go with. I wouldn't mind a really lopey cam. Also what type of injectors, how many #. Last but not least, how big of stall converter will I need to go with this combo.
Sorry for taking so long

I would suggest choosing a different piston, the kb101 has a 22cc dish which will bring your CR way down. A flat top 4 valve relief piston would be a much better choice.
about 8.3:1 with the kb101
vs
around 9.6:1 with say a kb228 flat top
This is calculated with an uncut deck, your CR will be higher if you take some off the deck surface. I would zero deck it for a 10-10.2:1
Maybe someone else can help with with your injector needs.
Your cam will need to be quite large to support 450hp in a 350, i would say something in the 236-242@.050 range but i am no cam expert.

i was liking the low compression so that i could drive it around on normal pump gas because the majority of whats around here is 90 octane. there is an amoco that has 92 a little ways out. So, I may go with the higher compression pistons. thanks for your help

If you plan on running a power adder down the road I personnally wouldn't run those pistons.......I would go with a forged piston plus there not that much of a price difference IMO.....

I would go with a set of full roller rockers. Roller tip isn't too spectacular if you ask me.
That site also wants way too much for all their rockers. I ordered my Comp roller rockers thru AutoZone for $40 cheaper than Jegs and Summit

I would get 24-30# injectors.
2500-3000 stall convertor, maybe even a little more, I run a 2800 with a 383/TH350 combo and I want more.
As for piston choice, do your self a favor and get some forged SRPs and go for 9.5:1 compression ratio, you can still run pump gas. I have 11:1 and burn 93 octane, but I have aluminum heads and I think the ones you are looking at are cast iron. Maybe not though.
