hey all my 91 Z just died cruzing down the street . fuel pressures good sparks ok . i checked the injector pulse and its not pulsing but staying on constant .like its in fuel fuel load but the tps readings are fine and no codes. strangest thing i have ever seen !!!!!
i think the computer took a **** anybody ever seen this ?

If the injectors aren't pulsing then you already found your problem. Is it flooding? How do the plugs look?

 

i havent checked the plugs yet i got a nasty *** cold so i had it towed to my shop and only played about 30 mins . but ges im smelling fuel and its not leaking anyplace .i know what the problem is but what is causing it ?

 

If the 'noid light stays on constantly, you may have a ground in the wiring harmess for the injectors (including a shorted injector).

EDIT: Can you say "Multec"?

Random ECM failures are VERY rare. Something took out the switching transistor for the injectors, and I'd still advise checking the resistance of the injector solenoids. 10.5 is the bare minimum cold resistance for your Multecs.
