hehe, thought you guys might appreciate that. It isn't my site, friend directed me to it at school, one hell of a good collection though.

Still at AR Matt?

Oh and a little off topic but, did all 89 f-bodies come with an electic speedo?

spearson: My '89 IROC certainly didn't come with an electronic speedo. I wish it did, though; mine wobbles like crazy...

Time to re-lube the cable; that's all it needs. Remove the instrument panel from inside the car, you'll need to pop the clip off the speedo-cable-to-speedometer connection point. When the cluster's lying on your back seat, pull the cable (the Center, not the Sheath!) out from the instrument panel with a twisting motion. When it's all the way out, put a blob of grease in your left hand, grab the cable with your right, and twist the cable back into the sheath- through the grease in your hand.

Don't get any grease on the last inch or two of the speedometer cable; you don't want grease in your speedometer!! Make sure the speedo cable seats all the way (as you twist it, it'll be trying to find it's spot at the transmission end), then reinstall everything.

I am down at Mankato State, working on a computer science major. What are you studying at Metro?
