Non-Thirdgen: 94 Dodge Ram running very badly

My dad's truck has been running awful the last couple of days. It died yesterday and had to be towed home. When the engine is cold, it will start right up and run fine, but after a couple of minutes, the engine starts to stumble badly and lose RPM, and also run rich. We are thinking maybe something in the ignition. Its a 94 Dodge Ram pickup 3.9L V6. Anyone have any ideas?

Oh Ward...I gotta say this....

You're telling me a Texan went out and bought a Dodge Ram...with a V6!!!!

I'd think if the neighbors found this out they'd run your pop's out of the county

You're preaching to the choir, man, I know it sucks. It is the slowest vehicle on earth. But nontheless, something is wrong with it and it needs to be fixed.
