I have been helping a buddy tune is camaro. It's a 355 with 10.5 to 1 compression, Trick Flow head, a victor jr intake, speed demon 750. hooker 1 5/8 headers, and the cam is the Comp Cams 292 maguam cam. It's has 244 duration @.050 on both intake and exhaust and 501 lift on both. The car seem to die in first gear at about 5000rpm but when you switch to secound gear it will pull to 6500. The car also has a very bad bog or stumble if you floor it from a dead stop or roll. The plugs look lean so we have went up on the jets. What could cause the stumble and what could cause the car to nose over in first gear. Any help would be great.

 

For your stumble, have you checked your fuel filter???
