Give me a BRAKE!!! lol Cant stop
Hiya Ladies and Gents,
Well heres my latest and greatest problem. I recently changed the front brakes on my Firebird. Everything was fine (about two days) till the first cold chill and snow. Now if the weather gets cold my front drivers side brake grabs before all the others and if I push hard enough on it it will squeelllllll on the pavement. I havent driven the car that much since. My question is could air have gotten into the system, possibly water? I am thinking water or sludge could be getting frozen or just sluggish in the line. Also, if I am sitting at a light or stop sign my car will creep forward on me from time to time. Thanks in advance for the help guys. For now Im stuck driving my truck which is no fun to drive in this wind we are having
Just in case:

Could be when you changed the pads, you let the calipers hang on the brakeline...this may have damaged the rubber line.
Have a buddy push the pedal while feeling the rubber on the line for swelling on the opposite side that locks up. If any swelling, replace both sides.
