Need dishedpstons for camel hump heads?
Doy uo have to use dished pistons to keep a fairly low compression ratio?

it depends on what cc the heads are, what is the size of the combustion chamber of the heads you are using, and what size is the motor.

well if they are 305 heads they have 58 cc chambers, and 350 heads normally have 64 cc chambers, with the 58cc heads with flat tops you will be at about 10:1 or more, with the 64cc heads with flat tops you will be at about 9.2 - 9.6 should be good for daily street use. im going with dished pistons with 58 cc heads, ill be around 9.5 compression, the 305 heads only have 1.80/1.50 valves but they can be machined for bigger tho

If they're really double-hump heads, they're 64cc nominal. Valve size doesn't matter.
350 motors that came from the factory with those heads had either flat-tops, for about 10.3:1 CR; or domed pisotns, for about 11.1:1.
