so im joining u f-body people. i am trading in my 91 celica for an 88 trans am, 1750+ some mint iroc rims and tires. i feel like ive got an awesome deal especially from a dealer(i live in canada so canadian prices) the trans am was going for 5900+i told them i wanted 1750 + these mint condition iroc rims on their lot. they agreed so thats like over 7500 in value for my celica which i ratted the hell outta :P what you guys think of this trade? my celica had 150k this trans am has 200k all the t/a needs is some minor exterior fix ups and minor interior fixups. what u guys think ill post pics tomorrow of the car

 

It depends on how well the engine runs.

200k is a lot of miles...did you see any maintenance records?

120,000 miles, thats not too shabby. If the engine runs well and doesn't smoke, then I"d say you got a pretty good deal.

 

ya i think i really got a good deal. theres only minor things to fix. 750 will probably do everything i need+ 1000 for other things such as college/gas/insurance/rent i will throw some money into mods and such as soon as i get back in the good income
