My buddy asked me for help and I really dunno what to tell him. He has a 1992 B4C L98 camaro.


It is bone stock and he wants to know if a edelbrock performer plus # 2102 cam would work in his car...?

Work, yes.

Work better than stock, probably not.

Work better than other choices, definitely not.

 

An LT1 cam would work nicely and be a good step up from the stock L98 cam.

 

Plus he'd also be stepping backwards from a roller cam to a flat tapper.

I like the LT1 suggestion, or the zz4 cam, although that one may require new springs.
