As a preson who likes to plan things out before I go about doing things I wiold like your opinion on my planned mods.

Here they are

Stock 87 LG4 short block with 9.3/1 compression

Crane POWERMAX emissions legal cam model 270-114142
272*/284* adv duration .454"/.480" gross lift

Stock Vortech heads off a 5.0 ltr pickup

Kmotion springs 1.265 diameter single spring

stamped steel rockers

Edelbrock preformer Vortech intake

modified CC rochester q-jet

heddman shorties w/ y pipe and hi flow cat

Flow master cat back.

DD 2000 claims 345 horses at 6000rpms and 345 lb torque at 4500. I know that that is high (the flow charts are for 350 vortechs) but even like 325 hp would be good.

What do you all think? Do you for see any problems? Can I put a flat tapped hydrolic cam i a roller block? any feed back would be appreciated.

might help if you stated your goals and if you have e check. i'd not use the carb, any stamped rockers, or k motion products, but that's just me.

My goals are to have a moderatly fast (like high 13's) daily driver. and the car will have to pass e check. I live in ohio so the emissions isn't too strict but it will have to pass.
