valve cover breather question

So I posted a question here yesterday about replacing the stock breather on my 1991 Camaro RS (V8 TBI) to a aftermarket one. To my understandiung and the guy I talked to yesterday said that the valve cover breather hole would be 1 1/4 inches. It isn't because today I tried to do my little project to discover that the hole is only 1 inch. I don't get what chevy ws thinking necause all SB Chevy engines had 1 1/4 inch diameter breather holes in the valve covers. Now I'm stuck with no breather on the car and can't find a replacment breather for the 1 inch hole.
By the way I can't use the original cause the grommet was broken when I pulled it out.
