im guessing this is a misfire, im not sure, you tell me. at idle the tach will kind of shake and the car will run a little rough, this all started happening all of a sudden thats why im leaning towards a misfire. running between 1500-2500 it will run a little more rough with the tach bouncin pretty good, then around 3000-4000 it starts bouncing off the walls, engine chugs bad and kind of jerks the car back and forth accelerating. sort of feels like that stuck on something every few seconds. after 4500 rpm it runs smooth. should i start with plugs and work my way through wires and cap/rotor? im not sure you tell me, thanks

 

your timing is way off it seams if it isnt 180* out, i had a problem like this a while ago, i reset the timing to 0* then drove about 50 miles then reset it to 4* after and ever since its been fine, I AM NOT SURE BUT THAT MIGHT BE IT, just try checking the timing.
