k, your cam choice is a bit much for a 305, try something like a 262 if you want a big 305 cam...and in my opinion, if your gonna run exhaust you might as well run 3"
can't say what kinda hp it'd be making because you don't give any clues as to what the intake is gonna be or what the 305's specs are...
i'd say about 60-100hp over stock if i had to take a stab at it with the limited info your giving...

Well the 305 block is realitivily stock, I'm running Hooker Comp Shorties (jet hot coated) with True Dual Exhaust 2-1/2. The Heads I was going to just drop in are the World Torquer s/r 305 heads. The Intake Is TPI, With SLP Runners both intake and Runners have been ported, running with an Raptor 700r4 trans, with 3.23 posi/ auburn.
I don't think it would take a miracle for it to not be over 300. The s/r stands for stock replacement, not high performance. High 200s would be my guess, but not over 300. I hope you've got some means of tuning it.

Thats why it is so hard to accept.
Add on top of it, he is also buying a 'new block' and i don't think i'd ever worry about lining up against this guy.

itz not that hard t gt a 305tpiw/ 700r4, 3rd gen to run in the 13sec range
new plugs/wires/cap+rotor/coil $150 (back to 200hp)
edelbrock TES headers $350 (215hp)
flowmaster catback $400 (230hp)
random tech high flow cat $220 (235hp)
slp runner, port matched and port plenum $300 (250hp)
LT4 cam, 1.6roller tipped rockers $400-600 (270hp)
2400 stall converter $300-450 (better 60')
3.73 gears $300 (better 60')
hotchkis rear suspension kit $300 (better 60' due to traction)
reworked stock heads(ported and over sized valves, milled) $350-500 (300hp)
good rubber and a heavy foot $230
along with a custom burnt chip and 350 injectors--(320hp)
and now you have your self a 300hp plus motor, which could push a third gen fbody into the mid -upper 13sec range with and low 13's with a 75 shot, all for about 3 grand, and if ur smart about it you'll shop around and get better prices for better stuff-
or just drop a 350 in for 3000, and still run 14's, but k, and there no fun in that, pls he has a new 305 block to stand up to the new upgrades

ok, as long as therest of the car is in good qual;ity shape and working order. she will be quick---
but the 3rd gen fodys that have been neglected need alot of work to get there, you guys know the fbody's i'm talking about.
but neway- if you make 500hp at the crank and are only spinnin bald 225s, ur never gonna get anywhere power is only good if you can put it to use.
