i found these heads for sale at high performance. i was wondering if i can use them on my L98.they say high performance gm cylinder heads,2.02/160,stainless valves,cut for screw in studs& guide plates.stage 1 ported(bowl blend),assembled with new 510 lift springs.they are only 450.00 a pair,please if anyone knows if they will work please let me know.oh yeah if they will work how much xtra horese are they good for?

 

What's the casting number?

All else is window dressing, fluff, and of no consequence. You can't make chicken salad out of chicken s*** no matter how much money you spend on it.

If they're 882, or 624, or 993, run away. Or worse yet, what one guy told me once when I asked him what castings he had worked up and was selling for improbably cheap, he said "almost as good as 882s". I could not wait to get off the phone.

 

can trust most 993, and a few 882, but no 624 !

 

Trust them.... to go slow and produce no power and disappoint the car owner
