various connecting rod strengths?

I need to replace a connecting rod in my GM 383 crate motor. It's odd, don't ask(all others are fine)...anyway, the GM rod costs $50 apiece, and I feel safer replacing them with exact peices in sets of two. My problem is the motor has a 4340 cola crank, so I'd feel better about upgrading to a stronger metal. I know 4340 is best and 5140 is second best, but does anybody have a list of strengths of different metals used in connecting rods? these are studded PM rods. I do have a standard set of PM rods with ARP bolts I'm considering having resized and using as well...

I do have a set of 6.0" Callies 4340 floating rods, but then I'd need a custom piston...because the crank is 3.8" stroke. Then I'd need to balance. trying to keep this as cheap as possible without sacrificing strength...

Anyway, anybody have a list of conn rod strengths?
