i have a 99 gmc sierra with a 5.3 vortec. it has a rev limiter that wont let me go over 80 mph. i want to get rid of that and i dont know how. i looked for the hypertech chips and they dont have any for anything newer than a 98. i have a friend that works at chevy dealer and he said he can program it but he needs a program that gm doesnt cary. anybody know what the program is? i know they make super tuner programers but i dont want to spend 300 bucks for one.
