Roller Rocker Question

Got a question for ya all.I saw these roller tips on e bay ya you think there any good?
Heres the link:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2403430325

I wrote him this letter and this is what he said:

How much horsepower are these roller tips good up to

It is RPM and valve spring pressure that's important. i use these rockers to 6500 RPM and maximun intalled spring pressure of 130 pounds and open pressure 325 pounds. Anything more and I recommend upgrading aluminum roller rockers

Thanks, Kevin @ Racers Outlet

What ill be runnin in my camaro is lunati 480/480 lift cam, Rpm intake, 600Cfm edelbrock,350 with 882 heads,3:73 gears, 3000 stall converter,Headers and so on............

Rocker arms aren't rated in HP. That kind of question is sure to elicit a BS response, because it has no meaning.

I would not use them. They are basically stock rockers, still made out of stamped sheet metal. Still might as well be rubber as far as how well they transfer the cam profile to the valves.

I would also not use aluminum rckers in a street motor. Their lifespan is too limited.

Those heads will cost you more HP potential than any rockers ever will, even stock rubber ones.

You can buy those same rockers from almost any speed shop for almost the same price - in either 1.5 or 1.6 ratios. Steer clear.
