i have a 85 350 truck engine thats a 2-bolt main

350 .30 over
stock bottom end
summit brand cam
ported stock heads 1.94 valves
Edelbrock Performer intake
Edelbrock 600cfm carb

on the dyno i put down 213RWHP and 307 RWTQ

what gain would i see at the rear wheels with new heads

like AFR 190's
Sportman II 2.02 heads


maintly i need more power for highschool drags but i cant have too high of compression, im runnign 92 octane and i dont want to go to race gas, i have about 9.7:1 compression now and i want ti about that or a little lower.

so wahts heads would you recomend

or what numbers should i see with new heads.

 

what stock 350 heads are you using to get 9.7:1 CR??

what summit cam are you using? the 1103?

The reason i am asking, is because we have about the same exact setup.

I have heard good things about the AFR 190's, but not much at all about the others....sorry
